Miles A. Pecken joined Sherwood Law Group in November of 2023 in the Personal Injury Litigation Department. He specializes in Personal injury Law, including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, bicycle accidents, premise liability, slip and fall accidents, animal bite accidents and construction negligence.
Miles attended law school while clerking for personal injury lawyers. He still managed to graduate early. As a lawyer, Miles began his career as a lawyer hired by insurance companies to defend personal injury claims. While he enjoyed the frequent courtroom exposure and high volume of cases defense law provided, he ultimately wanted to represent those tragically injured as a result of negligence instead of the insurance carriers. Because of his past defense lawyer experience, Miles understands both sides of the case and can advocate and advise his clients more effectively and efficiently.
Prior to law school, Miles received a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Ohio Wesleyan University. He received his Law Degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
