Brett N. Kaplan joined the Sherwood Law Group as an associate attorney in June 2017. Brett graduated from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Brett earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2015 and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2015. While in law school, Brett excelled in legal writing and business courses, allowing him to earn a Certificate in Business Law. Prior to joining the firm, Brett worked for a civil/commercial litigation firm in Chicago and clerked with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Brett focuses his practice in the areas of general litigation, personal injury, real estate, creditor/debtor actions, collections, and corporate litigation matters. His extensive litigation experience as well as relentless work ethic gives his clients a distinct advantage in the courtroom.
