Alexis is a trial attorney at Sherwood Law Group, focusing her practice on personal injury and civil litigation. She has successfully represented clients in a wide range of injury cases including medical malpractice, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, product liability, slip and falls, construction negligence, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death. Before joining Sherwood Law Group, Alexis defended corporations and professionals in complex matters involving medical liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She has litigated cases in both state and federal courts in Illinois, argued before the Illinois Appellate Court and the Seventh Circuit, and obtained favorable settlements for both individual and corporate clients. Alexis has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star—an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys under 40 in Illinois. A Chicago native, she holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Miami University and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
