J. Eric Wilson joined Sherwood Law Group in October of 2025 as an Associate Attorney. He specializes in various personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, slip and fall accidents, animal bite cases, and construction negligence.

Eric has focused his career on the successful representation of clients in litigation matters. He previously worked as a defense lawyer on a variety of cases including personal injury, premise, medical malpractice, and toxic tort litigation. The experience working as a defense attorney allows Eric to effectively strategize and best represent his clients. Eric enjoys utilizing the skills and knowledge gained from his former experience to obtain the best results for his clients.

Eric received his Law Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas. While in law school, Eric showed his adept skills for litigation by earning a “CALI Award” as the top student in his Advanced Litigation course.

When he is not working hard for his clients, Eric enjoys riding his bike along the beautiful paths on Lake Michigan and cooking for friends and family.
