Lauren Verdera joined Sherwood Law Group in October 2025 as a Senior Law Clerk, where she focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions. Her practice is rooted in professionalism and clear, composed communication, guiding clients through buying and selling processes with a client-first mindset. Lauren prioritizes understanding her clients’ goals and works to ensure each transaction proceeds smoothly and efficiently, helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident at every stage. She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in May 2025 after completing her undergraduate studies at Ball State University, where she pursued degrees in Pre-Law Political Science and Legal Studies with a minor in Spanish. During law school, Lauren gained experience across multiple areas of law, including work with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission of Chicago, participation in the UIC International Human Rights Clinic, and service as a Law Clerk with Sherwood Law Group’s personal injury team.
