- $2,500,000.00 third party recovery for a sixty (60) year old forklift operator who was injured at work when a negligently maintained storage rack and inventory fell upon her and she suffered multiple fractures to her hip, knee, ankle, orbital socket and a collapsed lung. Liability heavily disputed under exclusive remedies by the Defendant(s) landlord and property owner which were similarly situated entities to the employer.
- $2,025,000.00 settlement for a thirty (30) year old Plaintiff passenger who suffered life threating injuries in a motor vehicle accident including fractures to her tibia, fibula, radius, acetabulum and pulmonary hemorrhage requiring surgical repair(s). The third-party case originally deemed uninsured resolved for substandard limits after investigation; and the recovery of a non-victim originated policy pursuant to further investigation was discovered and underinsured exposure and recovery was captured by the Plaintiff.
- $1,750,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff involved in an automobile accident on the highway.
- $1,200,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who suffered severe injuries to his hand at work in a trucking accident.
- $1,000,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who suffered severe injuries to her shoulder and back when she tripped and fell down the stairs in her apartment complex.
- $975,000.00 settlement for a seventy (70) year old Plaintiff who had two (2) separate incidents involving a slip, trip, and fall on ice in a condominium common area as a result of water/ice and a third-party employee’s negligent act(s). He suffered rupturing of his quadricep tendons necessitating bilateral repair. Liability disputed by all Defendants.
- $900,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff injured in a slip and fall on ice.
- $800,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who slipped and fell in a shopping mall as a result of an uncleaned spill and suffered a T12 compression fracture. Liability, causation, nature and extent of the injury were disputed by the Defendant(s).
- $720.000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who slipped and fell in a factory.
- $675,000.00 wrongful death settlement for a Plaintiff at work in an elevator accident.
- $650,000.00 third party settlement for a Plaintiff (46) who slipped and fell on oil/substance in a loading dock while taking out the garbage in the course of his employment and suffered injuries to his right knee and shoulder that required both conservative care and eventual surgery. Liability was disputed by owner of the property, property manager and additional tenant that allegedly spilled the oil/substance.
- $622,500.00 settlement for wrongful death of a Plaintiff involved in a highway accident with a tow truck in a construction zone;
- $500,000.00 settlement for an eighty-three (83) year old Plaintiff that tripped, slipped, and fell down the staircase of his apartment building because of lack of stable railings and level steps wherein he suffered bilateral subdural hematomas and soft tissue injuries to his shoulder. Both liability and causative damages based upon a fall history were disputed by the defense.
- $500,000.00 settlement for a fifty-eight (58) year old Plaintiff truck driver that was injured when his truck was impacted and backed into in a parking lot by another truck. Plaintiff suffered injuries to his left shoulder including rotator cuff repair and arthroplasty along with soft tissue injuries to his neck and back. Liability, causation of injury and mechanism of injury where all disputed by the Defense.
- $450,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff injured at work in a motor vehicle and luggage truck accident at an airport.
- $400,000.00 settlement for the Wrongful Death of a Plaintiff that slipped, tripped, and fell in a parking lot of an apartment complex as a result of snow and ice accumulation and negligent snow and ice removal.
- $400,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who suffered an ankle fracture requiring surgical repair, developing arthritis and CRPS (disputed) from a slip, trip, and fall related to negligent removal of snow and ice and improper salting of a parking lot in a residential townhome community. Both liability and the permanency of the injury were disputed by the owner, property manager, and snow and ice removal contractor.
- $375,000.00 settlement for a forty-two (42) year old Plaintiff who was rear-ended in an automobile accident and suffered soft-tissue injuries to her neck, lower back, and shoulder which required injections. Nature of injury and causation were disputed by the Defendant.
- $320,000.00 settlement for a fifty-two (52) year old truck driver who suffered lumbar and thoracic disc bulges, hernia, and right shoulder soft tissue injuries requiring epidural injections in two (2) separate impacts to this truck in a parking lot.
- $305,000.00 settlement against a general contractor for negligence and construction negligence for a Plaintiff employee sub-contractor injured while working in a commercial office construction project when he tripped and fell and suffered multiple shoulder injuries, including a rotator cuff tear with surgery.
- $300,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff that was visiting at a friend's house when she went to retrieve food from the deep freezer and the freezer door broke, causing frozen meat to fall on her foot. She suffered a sesamoid fibular fracture requiring surgery.
- $250,000.00 policy limit recovery for a sixty-nine(69) year old Plaintiff that suffered injuries in a motor vehicle accident which included soft tissue injuries to her neck and back including disc herniations. No offer was made pre-litigation and policy was tendered immediately upon filing.
- $250,000.00 settlement for a thirty (30) year old Plaintiff who was injured while working for Home Depot, when a third-party loading truck disengaged from the loading dock while the Plaintiff was still working inside the cargo bed. Plaintiff suffered neck and back injuries, including a herniated disc that required conservative care. both liability and damages were disputed.
- $236,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff involved in a side-swipe motor vehicle accident where he suffered a complex medial meniscus tear recovering from both third-party and underinsured coverage;
- $230,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff crossing the street who was struck by an uninsured motorcyclist who suffered right knee meniscal flap tear, blunt head trauma, and soft tissue injuries.
- $230,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff passenger in a single-vehicle accident in Indiana where driver lost control of the vehicle, causing Plaintiff to suffer multiple fractures to her hand requiring surgery and soft-tissue injuries to her neck. Plaintiff recovered both in third-party and underinsured motorist coverage.
- $194,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff involved in a four-car motor vehicle accident where she aggravated pre-existing injuries, requiring left shoulder arthroscopy.
- $190,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who suffered soft tissue injuries as a result of a trucking accident on an Illinois Highway.
- $185,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who suffered displaced bimalleolar fracture requiring surgical repair to his ankle from a slip, trip, and fall related to snow, ice, and negligent construction/maintenance of the asphalt parking lot of a Restaurant;
- $150,000.00 settlement for a sixty-eight (68) year old Plaintiff who was rear ended in an automobile accident and suffered neck and back soft tissue injuries with radiculopathy. Nature and extent of the injury were disputed by the defense as Plaintiff had an intervening accident.
- $140,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff injured at a go-cart facility when her go-cart underwent a speed burst.
